I saw this project here: https://www.instructables.com/DIY-Arduino-Ball-Balancing-Game/ But I made it from 3mm plywood (not from cardboard) and 2 parts printed on my 3D printer. You can make your own parts for your laser cutter here: https://www.makercase.com/#/basicbox and or design the parts with Fusion 360 (or any other 3D program).
